With 20 years as a mortgage lending professional, Jim has experienced first hand a variety of changes in real estate financing. One constant, however, throughout his career has been his commitment to offering a high level of personal and ethical service to each client, which has allowed them to reach their financial goals. By creating a positive lending experience and a successful transaction for all parties involved, many referrals have been produced.  This has resulted in Jim assisting over 2300 homeowners with their mortgage financing needs!

A Mississippi native with a finance degree, Jim moved to Colorado in 1983, and began his mortgage career at Empire Savings and Loan. At that time most mortgage loans were generated by S&L’s, and the menu consisted of a whopping three products - a 30 yr fx, a 15 yr fx and a 1 yr ARM – my, how times have changed in the industry!  After managing different branches with Empire Savings and then, Commercial Federal Bank, Jim decided to concentrate his efforts solely as a mortgage loan officer in 1987. Having worked with several mortgage firms over the years, Jim has found that Englewood Mortgage Company offers the right fit for his clients.  It has the flexibility of a small firm with the buying power and product variety of a much larger company. When away from work, Jim’s priority is his family – his wife Susan, and children, Brynne and Colin. He loves supporting his kids in their activities @ school and in coaching their youth sports. Getting away with his family for vacations to the beach are the best.  A night out with Susan, enjoying dinner or a summer concert is always cherished. And when there is time, an occasional round of golf is enjoyable.
