SHARING INFORMATION We may share your non-public personal information as permitted by law with the following third parties: • our employees and others providing services and products which are necessary in connection with processing, underwriting, closing, administering and selling loans; • providers of marketing services on our behalf or other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements; • other financial institutions and merchants to verify balances; Please note: Our arrangement with each of the third parties in the above categories prohibits them from using your information except for the narrow purposes of such arrangement. • financial institutions who purchase or service your loan (when this occurs we transfer your entire loan file to this new financial institution which will be responsible for providing you with its own information and privacy policy); • government entities, and as permitted or required by applicable federal, state or local law or regulation, such as in response to reporting requirements and subpoenas and court orders; and • as authorized by you. We do not otherwise disclose any non-public personal information about you to anyone else. We pledge to limit the use of information about our customers to that which is necessary to administer our business, or to help identify additional products or services that may benefit our customers in accordance with the principles set out in this policy. RIGHT TO CHANGE PRIVACY POLICY We reserve the right, at any time, to amend or update this policy, simply by mailing you an updated policy or posting any changes to our Web site at www.mortgagenorth.com. Any such change or update will be effective immediately on mailing or posting to our Web site, whichever is earlier. HOW WE SAFEGUARD YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards and regulations to guard your information. We also pledge to respond to requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner. If you decide to take your business elsewhere, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice. However, we are not responsible for the information privacy practices of your new service providers.
