George G. Martin founded Premier Atlanta Mortgage Company in 1991 and is its current President. Premier Atlanta Mortgage has closed over 3,200 loans totaling over one billion dollars in Atlanta since 1991. Premier Atlanta is one of the longest running mortgage companies in Atlanta, primarily because its ethic is "helping clients achieve their goals."
Mr. Martin's duties include, but are not limited to, dealing with all new prospective clients, weekly review of all mortgage files, and continuously checking Premier's client list to determine if the market has produced a better mortgage opportunity for a particular client.
Mr. Martin graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 1965 where he was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Upsilon Honorary Scholastic Society. In 1967, Mr. Martin graduated from the University of Florida Law School and has been a member of both the Florida and Virginia State Bar Associations and has also practiced real estate law in both states.
In 1976, Mr. Martin started Dixie Mortgage in Jacksonville, FL which completed over 2,000 mortgage transactions by 1982. Mr. Martin has practiced real estate law, developed subdivisions and started a Virginia mortgage company which sold mortgages directly to and serviced those mortgages for Freddie Mac. In addition to originating those loans on a retail basis, the company originated mortgage loans through a network of community banks and mortgage brokers across Virginia.
Mr. Martin approaches what he does with mortgages in Atlanta as a professional who tries to achieve a successful outcome for its clients. Therefore, Premier Atlanta Mortgage Company, in contrast to most Atlanta mortgage providers, has an exceptionally large number of referrals from satisfied clients.
