George G. Martin, President
George G. Martin founded Premier Atlanta Mortgage Company in 1991 and is its current President. He has been active in the mortgage industry since 1976. Prior to this time, he was an in-house attorney for the Barnett Banks of Florida, which has subsequently been acquired by Bank of America.
Mr. Martin has practiced real estate law, developed subdivisions, and started Dixie Financial Corporation of Virginia, a Freddie Mac Seller Servicer. In addition to servicing the loans sold directly to Freddie Mac, he also started a wholesale mortgage company that bought mortgages from community banks and resold the paper to insurance companies and similar investors.
Mr. Martin graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1965 where he was a member of Alpha Epsilon Upsilon Honorary Scholastic Society. Mr. Martin next graduated from the University of Florida Law School in 1967 and has been a member of both the Florida and Virginia State Bar.
