How Our Employees Are Different
Premier Atlanta Mortgage Company vets prospective employees carefully. All candidates are required to have graduated from a top level university with a 3.0 minimum grade point average. Next, candidates are required to obtain results from a personality test which indicates that the candidate can adequately handle a great amount of detail work and be able to deal with clients in a professional manner. After all, a mortgage transaction is not only a financial transaction; but, it is also an emotional transaction! No candidate is considered who has worked for another mortgage company because Premier Atlanta Mortgage Company wants to train its employees the "Premier" way! Usually a job offer is made to about 1 out of 100 prospects. Premier Atlanta Mortgage Company starts the new employee with an above market salary and advances that salary substantially for every year of service. Although it was not required for all of Premier's employees to be licensed for what they do, Premier decided that each employee should never the less meet the stringent new Federal and State licensing requirements for mortgage professionals. Each employee has taken a 20 hour educational course and passed a Federal and State exam. All employees have also applied to the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance for a mortgage loan originator license and have had their fingerprints and credit checked thoroughly. All employees have received a license, thereby, making Premier one of the few, if only, mortgage companies to have everyone licensed. Premier Atlanta Mortgage Company took these steps to raise its professional bar even higher.
