Neil is one of only sixteen in the nation to hold this certification, which distinguishes Neil as someone who has demonstrated superior knowledge and competency is the area of reverse mortgages and dedication to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.

Monique, a Certified Mortgage Planner has over 21 years in the mortgage industry. Monique has previously served as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Tidewater Mortgage Bankers Association (TMBA).
May 2010-Southern Trust Mortgage is proud to announce that Tony Woodward has joined the company as a Branch Manager/Senior Loan Officer on the Peninsula. Tony will work closely with Southern Trust’s banking partner, Middleburg Bank, on offering an expansive list of financing options.
April 2010-Southern Trust Mortgage is proud to announce that Stiles Tanksley has joined the company as a Loan Officer in the Virginia Beach office. Stiles has over 25 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
February 2010- STM is proud to announce that Tim Pugh, a Virginia Beach native, has joined the company as a Loan Officer. Tim, a fifteen year veteran of the Kempsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, has an extensive background in yacht and aircraft financing prior to beginning his career in home finance. Certified by VHDA as a Certified Homeownership Facilitator, Tim will be an asset to the Southern Trust team.
December 2009- Southern Trust Mortgage is proud to announce that the team at Allymac Mortgage Services has joined the STM family. Southern Trust will open a new location in Owings Mills, Maryland to accommodate the new staff of 15 loan originators and processors. The staff in Owings Mills specializes in reverse mortgages, in addition to traditional forward mortgages. This new branch will be a valued asset to STM.
